2026 Scholarship Program 

RCASI is pleased to announce that the 2026 program has launched.  The deadline for application is March 27, 2026. 

The program is open to the children of active-duty first responders (PD, FD, and EMS) who are graduating in 2026 and plan to attend college in Fall 2026 and meet all of the program requirements.

The Joey Comunale Youth Scholarship memorializes Joseph “Joey” Comunale who we lost on November 13, 2016.  Joey was 26 when he was senselessly murdered.  Joey was involved in the security and life safety industry and part of the local association that renamed the program to recognize Joey.  Joey’s memory lives on thru his friends, family, and this wonderful program.
